maybe
I would love this as my ipod wallpaper.
Hey, wallpaper away.
It's cool, but the reason I don't usually review stuff like this is I don't get why it has to be so pandering. You and other people who do this could just as easily give shoutouts in the comments. I just don't get it.
Fuck pandering, I pander to no one but myself. Just somethings are so esoteric they can be misconstrued. Thanks for the review.
Your simplistic style is very eye catching, and a real inspiration to me. This is a really good start but even something this simple could be a lot more detailed, it's just a matter of cleaning it up. Keep up the good work and I hope you put away some time to do something that might not be as big but shows what you're capable of.
Thank you very much for your advice. I need lots of improvement!
Nice, did you use a reference? Copying something from real life is the fastest way to learn.
Yes
It's about time I got to reviewing this. I looked through your gallery and while your other work shares similar qualities, this one stands out from the rest. I would say the biggest factor at play here is the focus of the drawing, nothing is pulling my attention away from the puppy like in some of your other works, and all the elements are complementing the focus. There's no excess, it "gets right to the point" if you will. On top of that you basically nailed the rest of the requirements, great colors, great comp, great style. Well done, I hope to see more like this one.
Thank you for the insightful comment! That is so true, I almost always get carried away with my drawings, it's like some strange OCD of mine.
Quality work as always, It's worth putting in the time to get this level of detail.
Thank you! =D Yes it is worth, even when I don't see it half way through! lol
Too much separation between the foreground and background. They look great on their own but don't seem like part of the same scene.
Thanks for the advice!
Pretty cool, the colors could be more varied but the biggest thing is the value which isn't balanced well. The lights should get dimmer as they go down to the bottom.
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for future pieces!^ ^ thank you!
If you're a fan of your own work, then you'll be fine ~ Start small. If you can't, then start smaller ~ If you don't love what you put out, don't expect anyone else to
