WHERE CAN I BUY THIS?

DonnieDurdunkleton responds:

It's actually available on my redbubble (DonnieDurdunkle)

Best Bowsette art, hands down... and just very good art in general.

ALTerant responds:

Thanks! I put a ton of work into it. But I dunno about "best" though; I've seen some pretty great Bowsette art floatin around out there haha. I'll take the compliment anyways.

You keep putting out content like this and I'll keep singing your praises. So many good drawings.

Anyhoo, the gore is probably polarizing but there's a certain charm that I just love about casual ultra-violence. If you're like me then I would recommend Turbo Kid (2015), it doesn't get much better than that when it comes to that genre.

DonnieDurdunkleton responds:

Aw yeah I saw that movie! That was a fun one. (also, thank you!)

The reflections look so good. All your other work is also top-notch. Glad to have you on-board!

kikino77 responds:

Thank you so much!

This is fantastic! Can you share a little bit on how you got the fur quality to look so good? Drawing fur is something I'm very keen on getting better at.

nellfallcard responds:

Sure! Is a mix of 5 brushes, a round solid one for blocking, one I downloaded somewhere for smudging but is not really that special, is just fast (which I like coz smudging on big format tends to eat computer resources like crazy), another one that is a series of dots so when you do a stroke it comes as several hairs at once, one for single hair strands, and a soft one with a large radius to add volume. I can upload a tutorial to my YouTube channel if you want to see the process :D just hold me after mid October, quite packed with stuff now x)

Only thing I don't like about this is how it's cropped, too much emptiness on the left.
Edit: Everything else is fantastic!

YakovlevArt responds:

sure!I guess I could always crop it, but it's so close to a square I left it like that. Perfect for Instagram.

This I like. The silhouette is pretty boring though and only further accentuated by the fact that it's a dark bold line.

jcarignan443 responds:

Thanks. Still experimenting with factors 😎🎅

Waifu material.
-1/2 star because lines are messy.

Edit: To be clear, you can get away with messy lines if you draw a picture big enough that it doesn't matter when it's downscaled (like this one, for example: https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/mleth/brooke-what-did-i-do-last-night ) but this drawing is almost half the size so it becomes more of a point. Not a big deal either way, I love your art style overall. I just always try to leave people with something they can improve on.

MLeth responds:

Never heard anyone complain about messy lines so I'll give you that!

Good job. I like the concept but there's not enough of a separation between the water and the sky. Under normal conditions, there would be a gradient on one or both which helps the mind divide the two. Here, it looks like one big sky from far away and zooming only reveals a lack of detail.

My other criticism is that I don't think it needed to be drawn this big and in fact I think it hurts the picture. Drawing things big means you need to spend more time constructing the basic building blocks which means less time adding finer details. Part of my process when I'm starting a drawing to decide how big I'd like it to be, but also how big I'm capable of making it. If you Kept the man the same resolution he is and shrunk everything else around him, I have a feeling it would improve the composition and hide the lack of detail at the same time. And it would still end up huge so I don't see a downside.

EduardBey responds:

Thank you for the tips!

I love it, you have a real knack for environments! Backgrounds often get overlooked so I always love seeing somebody who's committed to drawing them.

Sev4 responds:

Thank you so much \o/

If you're a fan of your own work, then you'll be fine ~ Start small. If you can't, then start smaller ~ If you don't love what you put out, don't expect anyone else to
