Jaw dropping as always. Your shading is always so simple yet so thought out. I have to try doing something in this style.

I don't know what it is, but I like it.

I LOVE this style of pixel art, very sword&sworcery-esque. I can just image how epic this scene would look in a fully fleshed game. n_n

I like the shading. You could use a little work on your perspective though, the table seems to be seen from the top while the chair looks like it's viewed from a fisheye lens. On a separate note, may I ask how you made the background?

KraakenHex responds:

Oh, just filtered a piece of brown paper to darken it, then applied a variety of grunge brushes and other filters that looked nice. I wish I could be more specific, but I just play around when I make backgrounds. ;)

SOUGH CLEEEEEN!

Cool! How do you draw so damn fast?

Cryptid-Creations responds:

I think it really depends on the subject's complexity. If it's a simple shape and easy to visualize, there's more time to render. But the more complicated, the less I can manage in a hour. This little guy was pretty simple. It's also backgroundless, so that saves a good 15 minutes :>

Gorgeous colors as always! I don't think you should change the leg placement though, if anything is wrong with his stance it's his face. It looks as if it's in profile with the rest of his body aiming at the island in the background. And like Kostou said, the angle of the flower bed needs to be lowered a bit. Love your work!

I'll give it a 4 because of repetitive textures. This looks like a cross between Fez and SB:S&SEP and I like both of their styles.

Wow great work! Some things though: it could do without the lens flare, after all it's outer space. Also I feel like the stars in the background are WAY too uniform, but only noticeable if I look closely. Try to add more subtle variations.

I couldn't tell it was supposed to be a cathedral until I read the title. But it's beautiful nonetheless.

If you're a fan of your own work, then you'll be fine ~ Start small. If you can't, then start smaller ~ If you don't love what you put out, don't expect anyone else to
