I love it when the resolution is high for pixel art. Makes me nostalgic. I'm not good at interpreting poetry though so I'm probably missing out on half the meaning.

Look son, it's some good art.
I love the cyan accents, they really go well with orange. While this obviously took a long time, I can't help but notice small inconsistencies throughout the whole picture (such as the tubes in her helmet being skewed). I feel the abdomen could be improved, it looks like you took a lot of liberties when you redesigned the armor but in the case of this area I think simpler would have been better. It's missing that sleek quality we're all used to. Anyway 5 stars because this is dope.
Cheers for the review. Yeah the abdomen area I went with the defined ab muscle look. But simpler could've worked also :)
I typically dont do much fanart because people do have certain ideas in mind when it comes to existing characters but I always like to explore new designs instead of having the same one get stale. But still I agree that it is a fine line between designs that people know vs. how far you can push new design :)
I don't feel like this pose fits the character...
The only thing that bothers me is his arms look kinda stubby. Also would have loved to see some reflected light on his pants where it gets a little dark. But great job nonetheless, esp considering how large it is.
Damn, I wish I had dreams like this.
They could really use some chapstick.
lmao
If your goal was to amuse you achieved it 110%.
I love the design of the creatures. They look like walking stuffed animals.
The attitude in America about bullying is like that because most of the time the bully hasn't broken the law (yet) and there are usually more pressing cases to investigate like stolen vehicles, missing persons, etc. It's not that they don't care, but at least American culture gives you the option to defend yourself with arms, if necessary. Technically you can invite your bully over to your house and say you'll shoot them in the head with your hunting rifle and not be breaking the law. We're just animals in the end, collectively we're not very smart, and until our culture starts to promote peace instead of hate we have to look out for ourselves to a degree.
If you're a fan of your own work, then you'll be fine ~ Start small. If you can't, then start smaller ~ If you don't love what you put out, don't expect anyone else to
