I'd love to see a gif of something like this rotating. The filesize would probably be huge though.

Beautiful concept work! You have just the right amount of detail (and lack thereof) in all the right places. A lot of people can learn a thing or two about workflow from studying this drawing.

I love the soft lighting on the buildings, and the font is absolutely perfect for the aesthetic. Few things to note, though: The background being blank is questionable, you create a great sense of depth, but then it just ends suddenly and leaves me unsatisfied. Second, the shadow of the boat is HUGE on that building. Using context from around the picture, it isn't clear whether this is intended or not. If it is intended, it would have really helped to add context to the scale of the boatman by throwing some birds around him and perhaps even casting their shadow onto him to show that he is indeed very large. Third, you have some nice detailed roof access toward the bottom of the drawing, but almost like you lost your will halfway through, you decided to just slap a staircase on every other building and call it a day. This lack of consistency leaves me feeling confused. For all that I still love it, and I like when artists take risks with color and try something unconventional. Nice work.

Thank you so much for all the valuable advice. It's true that I lost enthusiasm halfway, because I got very tired of working with the pen tool. It's still no excuse, I know. I'll do better next time.

Thanks again for taking your time and analysing this piece for me. Really appreciate it.

I like it, but the background is worse than if you just left it blank. You drew all the blocks and characters in perspective, but then the clouds are flat which leaves it looking inconsistent. Having clouds that follow the same perspective as everything else would add value instead of take value away.

Thanks Lucky, I appreciate the feedback. I'm actually not too happy with how this piece turned out so it's nice to hear your opinion on what could be better.

There are a few issues but on the whole I give this a 5/5. I especially love the smoke effects and the colors are perfect. I noticed that barely visible touch of blue at the very top of the sky, it's subtle but it contributes greatly to breaking the up the piece and adding another level of detail. The pose is great, and the anatomy is on point, and there's even a sense of motion on top. Really enjoyable, awesome job.

I see balls.

I keep imagining them flying by that citadel and then *POP*
One thing I thought was interesting was the distribution of the people on the ground. Did you use a reference for that? I'd expect some of them to be closer together, in fact it could work just as well if you copied the distribution of stars in the sky. Anyway, I'm just nitpicking, great work!

I thought the purple was negative space. Kinda disappointing since the thumbnail makes it seem like you're looking out of a cave on an alien planet. Hint hint, wink wink.

I missed your uploads, nice to see new work from you.

Dope, thanks.

If you're a fan of your own work, then you'll be fine ~ Start small. If you can't, then start smaller ~ If you don't love what you put out, don't expect anyone else to
